My wife, Diane, and I want to thank you both for taking of your time Saturday morning to reintroduce us to the new Volvo XC-90. We have owned a Volvo XC-90 for 13 years. The new features you patiently explained to us seemed endless! We have been waiting quite a few years for Volvo to produce a new model XC-90 that would not be a continuation of the 2004 model we presently own. The new XC-90 seems to be new in every respect.
Because of your thorough and patient explanation of the new features and answered our initial questions, you have passed the first major test. And that is, Diane really loves the car and especially the seats and driver experience. We have been considering your competitors cars without much enthusiasm.
I trust I successfully laid out our timing of the new car purchase and the likelihood of taking a factory delivery. I also trust this does not try you patience's in excess?! Beau, thank you for alerting us to the timing of factory deliveries. Actually, this may work in our favor as we want complete a purchase by first quarter 2017.
Again, we thank you both for making this initial experience of learning about the new Volvo XC-90 a most pleasant one. We will keep in contact with you from time to time and ask you do the same as to any information we may need to be aware of in making a decision on this purchase.

My family and I were there on vacation and I had decided to stop in to see how much it would cost to have a new key made along with programing the key fob. To my amazement, it was half the cost that the dealership near me wanted to charge. Ronnie Kenley , parts manager, came out and talked to me and explained, which the other dealership did not, how important it was to get the new key made. Explained that if the old key was to break or be lost that it could be $$$$ to have replaced because it would have to be towed in, vin# checked, new key, new fob, and labor. I was ready to do it right then and there. He said something to me that caused a little bit of shock. He told me to discuss with my wife first and make sure that we could handle the extra cost. Then he told me to call him back on the 31st (Friday) and that if we did this he would get us in between appointments.
Called back the next morning (31st) and spoke with Nita Bayliss, service manager, and she got us in at 1:00pm that same day. Not only did they have our new key and fob ready, they also took the time to do a recall that we did not even know about.
Both of these people, in my book, went out of their way to take care of us while on vacation. They went way above and expectation that we had. Courteous, friendly, and funny as all get out.
Too bad that the person at the dealership here in Springfield, Mo would not even take the time too look up from his magazine to talk to me. For now I will drive (if possible) the 650+ miles to go back to James Mears Mazda in Lubbock, Tx."
